As the graph above indicates, you are a part of a special group of generations who meet the following criteria by virtue of your birth. I will refer to all the generations as The Impact Generation.
Here’s why you are special:
#1 - You remember a world before technology
Your formative years were powerfully shaped by a world before Apple, Amazon, Google, the iPhone, social media, influencers, and the craziness of today’s Internet landscape.
I call this pre-tech period the analog world, and there is so much to love about it. It’s not just nostalgia for a world we will never see again. The analog world moves slower and with fewer distractions. In addition, relationships and critical thinking are highly prized.
The analog way of living and thinking is disappearing in the high distraction and low attention span digital world.
